General Information
Telephone Standby:
Only Supreme ane County Court Prospective jurors must call the Jury Commissioner's office the night or the weekend before the reporting date for final instructions which will include the date, time and place to report, and a reminder to complete the juror information form attached to the summons.
Parking:
Adequate free parking is available in front of the Madison County Courthouse or behind the Veterans Memorial Building.
Absence/Emergency:
If you are unable to report at any time during your jury term due to illness or emergency, please telephone the Commissioner of Juror's Office at (315) 366-2278 as soon after 9:00 a.m.
Court Hours:
The Madison County courthouse is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Court Security:
Jurors are required to go through a metal detector as a security measure.
Meals:
The courthouse is centrally located in the village of Wampsville and is accessible to restaurants and eateries.
Verification of Attendance:
An attendance verification form is available to all jurors and is required by some employers for payroll purposes. They are available upon request to the clerk of the court.
