The recorded message will refer to you by juror number. This is a four digit number preceded by a letter. Please report promptly at the time indicated on your summons. The telephone call-in number is 571-3219.

Parking:
The main parking lot is located on Supreme Court Drive, just south of the courthouse. You may also park in appropriate spaces along the street. Observe the signs for areas which prohibit parking, and if you park at a meter, you are responsible if the meter expires.

Absence/Emergency:
If an illness or emergency prevents you from reporting, please call our office at 571-2913 at 9:00 a.m., on the day you are to report. Your summons lists all of the radio and television stations that will alert you to court closings in case of inclement weather or you may visit www.cancellations.com for information about court closings.

Court Hours:
Court normally operates from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a lunch hour and breaks throughout the day. Court sessions do not often continue beyond 5:00 p.m., except when juries are deliberating.

Court Security:
The south entrance of the Supreme Court Building opens at 8:15a.m. Magnetometers are in place in the courthouse, and jurors are not exempted from the screening process. Weapons and dangerous instruments of any kind are prohibited in the court buildings and cellular phones are not permitted.

Meals:
Breakfast, lunch and dinner is furnished to deliberating jurors. All other meals are your own responsibility. Vending machines are located in the cafeteria and a deli snack bar is available. There are also restaurants and fast food establishments within a few blocks of the courthouse. You are free to bring your lunch. No food or drink is allowed in courtrooms.

Verification of Attendance:
Attendance is conducted each morning in the Central Jury Room. An attendance verification form is available to all jurors and is required by most employers for payroll records.
