General Information
Telephone Standby:
All jurors are on standby and report only when instructed to do so by means of the recorded telephone message. The telephone call-in number is (315)349-3292. This does not apply to grand jury service.
Parking:
Limited parking is available in the area surrounding the Courthouse. Please do not park in handicapped or parking areas with limited time.
Absence/Emergency:
If you are unable to report at any time during your term due to illness or an emergency,please
telephone our office at 349-3291 or 349-3292 as soon as possible after 8:30 a.m.
Court Hours:
The Commissioner of Jurors is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Court Security:
Before entering the building you will be required to pass through a magnetometer.Jurors are not exempt from this screening process and should not bring weapons,pocket knives,or small scissors with them to court. Your cooperation and patience is greatly appreciated.
Meals:
Meals are furnished during deliberation only. At all other times, jurors are responsible for providing their own meals.
Verification of Attendance:
Jurors check in at reporting time. An attendance verification form is available to all jurors and is required by most employers for payroll purposes.
