YOUR NAMES WILL BE TAKEN OUT OF THE ACTIVE FILE FOR 6 YEARS, AS LONG AS YOU HAVE GIVEN US THE INFORMATION FROM THE BACK OF YOUR SUMMONS.

General Information

Telephone Standby:
Call-In System: All trial jurors are on a call-in system, and are to report when their juror number comes up on the recorded message. The telephone call-in number is (518) 451-8850.

Parking:
Free parking is available for jurors. You may park at the lots off McMaster Street, Rte. 50, Remsen Street, and East High Street.

Absence / Emergency:
Call the Commissioner of Jurors Office at (518) 451-8850. Court Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Court Security:
Magnetometers are located at the entrances. For your protection, all jurors must pass through the Magnetometers.

Meals:
Lunch and dinner is only furnished to deliberating jurors. Snacks, soft drinks and coffee are available in the juror assembly area. You may also bring your lunch. There are many restaurants within walking distance. No food or drink is allowed in the courtrooms. WI-FI is available in the Jury Lounge.

Verification of Attendance:
Jurors who need a work voucher for their employer will be supplied one by this office. Jurors sign in at the Commissioner of Jurors Office.
