General Information
Telephone Standby:
All trial jurors are on standby and report to the Warren County Municipal Center only when instructed to do so by means of a recorded message. The recorded message will refer to the date of the term you have been summoned for and may on occasion refer to you by your jury ID#. Please report promptly at the time indicated in the message. The telephone call-in number is: (518) 761-6505.
Parking:
The Municipal Center has ample parking, but jurors are told by recorded message exactly where they should park.
Absence/Emergency:
If an illness or emergency prevents you from reporting, please call our office at 761-6505 by 9:00 a.m. on the day you are to report. Listen to local radio stations for information about court closings due to inclement weather.
Court Hours:
Court normally operates from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., with a lunch hour and breaks throughout the day. Court sessions do not often continue beyond 5:00 p.m., except when juries are deliberating.
Court Security:
Jurors will take directions concerning court security directly from the Court Officers.
Meals:
Lunch and dinner is furnished to deliberating jurors. All other meals are the juror's responsibility. There are restaurants and fast food establishments within a mile of the courthouse.
Verification of attendance:
Jurors are required to sign-in everyday that they report for jury duty. Our office will gladly furnish each reporting juror a work-slip to verify to their employer those days of attendance on jury duty.
