*** NEW LIRR SERVICE TO RIVERHEAD BEGINS SEPTEMBER 13, 2010 ***

&lt;BR&gt;Jury Duty Special -
&lt;BR&gt;
&lt;BR&gt;Starting September 13, the &quot;Jury Duty Special&quot; train will begin operating on the Main Line/Ronkonkoma Branch to get Suffolk jurors to Riverhead before 9 AM every day the courts are in session. The train will depart from Deer Park at 7:54 AM, making stops at Brentwood (7:59 AM), Central Islip (8:03 AM), Ronkonkoma (8:10 AM), Medford (8:21 AM), Yaphank (8:29 AM) and arriving in Riverhead at 8:55 AM, where a free shuttle bus will take jurors to nearby courthouses. The process is reversed in the afternoon, with trains leaving Riverhead Station at 1:21 PM and 3:58 PM. More than 30,000 Suffolk County residents are summoned to serve on juries in Riverhead every year.

&lt;BR&gt;&lt;B&gt;Good service means you do not have to make any more phone calls. You do not have to return your summons nor will you receive any documentation from this office.  Service is complete for 6 years.&lt;/B&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;

&lt;BR&gt;&lt;FONT COLOR=RED&gt;Before reporting, please answer all questions on the back of Part A and then add your Social Security Number on the front.  This will help us expedite your processing.  Your Social Security Number is used for Payment Purposes only. &lt;/FONT&gt;

&lt;BR&gt;&lt;FONT COLOR=BLUE&gt;In addition, FOR SECURITY PURPOSES, please DO NOT bring any cameras, cell phones with cameras, any weapons, glass bottle containers or sharp items such as scissors, pocket knives or knitting needles.  We suggest that those jurors who carry camera cell phones leave them at home while on jury duty, as cameras are not permitted in any courthouse. Jurors who do bring camera cell phones will have to leave them with court security for the entire day.&lt;/FONT&gt; </description>
